Kuan-Yi Lu
Kuan-Yi received his MS degree in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics from National Central University, Taiwan in 2012. During that time, he utilized proteome microarrays to study lipid– and viral RNA–protein interactomes in yeast and human, which lead to some interesting findings in the lipid signaling and hepatitis C virus infection. For his doctoral training, Kuan-Yi studied malaria parasite biology and received his PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Duke University in 2020. His study focuses on the stress response and drug target discovery in the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum.
